LEXINGTON INTERNATIONAL LLC SELECTED AS A SFMA 'MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR' FINALIST

April 22, 2004 (Fort Lauderdale) - Lexington International LLC, manufacturer of the HairMax LaserComb, was honored as a finalist at the 25th Annual "Recognition of Excellence" award ceremony sponsored by the South Florida Manufacturer's Association (SMFA) for outstanding accomplishment to the field of manufacturing. Finalists were nominated from over 4500 South Florida manufacturing companies based on criteria including the incorporation of the latest technology, theories, and ideas in manufacturing.

Lexington International was nominated by the United States Department of Commerce which also honored the company with it's "Commercial and Export Achievement" award in 2002.

As the manufacturer and developer of the HairMax LaserComb, an exciting new Laser PhotoTherapy device for thicker, healthier hair, Lexington has sought out new and innovative ways to provide a quality product at an affordable price. By working closely with local firms, Lexington has been able to keep this important manufacturing function here in the United States. Lexington International is also an ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13488:1996 certified company.

"Manufacturing laser products for healthcare is the primary business of Lexington," said David Michaels, founding director of the company. "With the LaserComb, it is our desire to provide the highest quality, yet affordable solution to men and women suffering from thin, lifeless hair."

The South Florida Manufacturing Association was formed a quarter-century ago to promote the growth and economic well being of the region's manufacturing industry, to be its unifying force, to represent its common interests and to provide to its members needed services and resources.

The annual Recognition of Excellence Banquet is one of the largest and most elegant gathering of manufacturing leaders in South Florida.  The leading manufacturing performers of 2003 are honored at this event, both companies and employees. "It is a great achievement be considered for this award and all our employees can share in the credit," said Randy Veliky, Lexington's Chief Operating Officer.

The SFMA will promote the winning companies and their manufacturing excellence to the South Florida business community. In addition, the South Florida Business Journal creates a special publication honoring all nominees.  Lexington was also recently recognized as a 2003 "Cutting Edge" award nominee by the Business Journal for innovative approaches to business and quality manufacturing.
