LEXINGTON INT'L EXPANDS INTERNATIONALLY WITH DISTRIBUTION OF THE HAIRMAX LASERCOMB IN VIETNAM

Lexington International, LLC is pleased to announce the continuation of its expansion effort internationally with the availability of the HairMax LaserComb in Vietnam.

July 8 , 2010 – Boca Raton, FL - Lexington International, developer and manufacturer of the revolutionary HairMax LaserComb ®, is pleased to announce that it has entered into agreement with a distributor in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam that distributes medical devices to dermatologists and plastic surgeons. The HairMax is the only laser phototherapy device that has been proven effective for the treatment of certain classes of hereditary hair loss in males and is FDA Class 2 Cleared for marketing. 

This agreement will facilitate the introduction of the HairMax LaserComb into the growing hair care market in Vietnam and will help make the HairMax a leader in the hair growth arena in that country.  This introduction continues the company’s international expansion strategy to offer effective therapies to a wider audience of people around the world afflicted with hair loss. 

According to Euromonitor, the cosmetics and toiletry market in Vietnam grew over 60% between 2003 and 2008, yielding total sales in this category to over US$500 million.  Hair care is one of the fastest growing segments in that market and that is why Lexington considered this an ideal time to distribute the HairMax there. 

Clinical assessment of treated scalp sites was carried out by objective evaluation of macro-images using dot mapping and computer aided hair counts, and with subjective evaluations by physicians and patients. The study showed that the HairMax LaserComb is an effective and well tolerated laser phototherapy device for the treatment of certain classes of Androgenetic Alopecia in males. The adverse event profile was similar in the two treatment groups and there were no reports of serious adverse events.
