Usage
Q: How do I use the HairMax LaserComb?
A: The HairMax LaserComb has been designed with both comfort and convenience in mind. To turn on the HairMax LaserComb press the “power” button and then the “laser” button on the front of the unit. Next, place the LaserComb flat on your head using the two rows of teeth. Rather than constantly moving the HairMax LaserComb through your hair (as you would with a regular brush or comb), you will use what we like to call the “glide” method by placing the HairMax LaserComb on a specific spot on your head and gently gliding it back a ½ inch each time the audible four-second beep occurs. Move from the front of your hairline to the back of your head and then repeat the process moving in the opposite direction. The “glide” method is the best way to ensure that the LaserComb will be as effective as possible for you.
In addition to being very easy to operate, the HairMax LaserComb is also a relaxing and enjoyable product to use. There are no sprays, topical ointments, or powders to worry about, and it can be used in the comfort of your own home at your own convenience.

Q: How often do I need to use the HairMax LaserComb?
A: We recommend that the HairMax LaserComb be used 3 times per week, 10-15 minutes per treatment for optimal results.

Q: Can I use the HairMax LaserComb more than three times a week to see faster results?
A: We have found that three times a week seems to be the optimal amount of usage. Using the HairMax LaserComb more than three times a week has not been shown to accelerate the benefits.

Q: How long will I need to continue treatment with the HairMax LaserComb?
A: Hair care treatment, as with the treatment of any condition, is an ongoing process. For this reason, it is imperative that, to keep seeing positive benefits from the HairMax LaserComb, you use it as indicated on a consistent basis. You can miss a day here and there and be alright, but all in all, if you do not use the product as recommended, there is a strong possibility that you will not see desirable results or you will regress to where you were prior to using the HairMax LaserComb.

Q: When can I expect to start seeing results from the HairMax LaserComb?
A: User experience will vary. In general, there are three categories of user experience: 45% of users will see positive results after 8 weeks of treatment. Another 45% will see benefits from weeks 10-16. The last 10% of users will begin to see subtle improvements (if any) after 16 weeks.

A: The HairMax LaserComb may improve the appearance of the entire head: back, front, top and sides.

Q: I am just starting to notice my hair beginning to thin, is it too soon to start using the HairMax LaserComb?
A: It is actually never too soon to start. The better the initial condition of your hair, the better your results with the HairMax LaserComb can be. The HairMax LaserComb treatment should be incorporated into your daily preventative maintenance routine, much like brushing everyday to maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Q: Can people of all ages benefit from using the HairMax LaserComb?
A: Studies have shown that laser phototherapy (LPT) is effective in people ages 18 and older. For people under the age of 18, we recommend you consult your physician prior to using the HairMax LaserComb.

Q: Does the HairMax LaserComb work for women?
A: At this stage the HairMax LaserComb is only indicated for male use. A clinical study for use in females will be completed and submitted to the FDA for this indication in the near future.

Q: Can I use the HairMax LaserComb if I have already had transplant surgery?
A: This practice is encouraged by an increasing amount of hair transplant surgeons worldwide. The HairMax LaserComb has been shown to decrease the recovery time in hair transplant patients, and also to increase the look of the transplanted hairs in a positive manner (making them appear thicker, fuller, and healthier). The teeth of the HairMax LaserComb are even removable making immediate use after surgery possible.

Q: Does your hair need to be clean to use the HairMax LaserComb?
A: We do recommend that you use the HairMax LaserComb on a clean scalp so that the laser can effectively improve the appearance of your hair without being hindered by oils, dandruff, etc. The reason for this is to prevent product buildup from blocking the laser light. However, you can also address this by cleaning your LaserComb with a damp cloth before and after each use.

Q: How often do you need to wash your hair when you use the HairMax LaserComb?
A: We recommend that you wash your hair at least three times a week. This way the HairMax LaserComb can work effectively without the possible blockage which comes with having excessive oil buildup on the scalp or excessive dandruff. However, this is not imperative for the HairMax LaserComb to be effective; you can also address this by cleaning your LaserComb with a damp cloth before and after each use.

Q: Which shampoos are best to use when using the HairMax LaserComb?
A: We here at Lexington strongly recommend the use of sulfate free shampoo products as they are gentler on the scalp, and help make scalp conditions more conducive to the use of the HairMax LaserComb. Warranty/Order/Shipping
Q: What do I do if my HairMax LaserComb has stopped functioning properly?
A: Lexington International offers a full 2 year warranty for the HairMax LaserComb Premium and a 1 year warranty for the HairMax LaserComb SE. The warranty protects against factory defects and workmanship errors. If your unit has stopped functioning within this time period, feel free to contact our office so that we can personally assist you with your warranty return.

Q: What if my unit has stopped working and I am out of the specified warranty time?
A: In the rare event that your unit stops working after your 1 year warranty period has expired, contact our office immediately to arrange for a return. Upon inspection of the unit we can quote you the price to repair and/or replace it.

Q: How do you ship?
A: We ship UPS 3 day select for domestic orders and UPS Worldwide expedited for international orders. Typically, UPS Worldwide expedited takes 3-4 days for delivery.

Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: $14 will be added to your order for shipping within the USA.

Q: How much does international shipping cost?
A: $14 will be added for shipping Internationally. European delivery orders have a €10 delivery charge.

Q: Is there a guarantee that comes with the HairMax LaserComb?
A: Because we are sure you will be satisfied with your HairMax LaserComb, we offer a generous money back guarantee: We Guarantee your Satisfaction. If the product is returned within 5 Months (20 Weeks), there will be a 20% restocking fee applied. This money back guarantee is effective from the date of delivery. You will be required to pay for the return shipping costs and the applicable restocking fee (stated above). A: We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Please call or e-mail us, and provide us with your name and/or order number and we will be happy to track your shipment for you. During periods of extreme order volume, order shipments may be delayed.

Q: I bought my unit from a distributor. Is there a distributor guarantee that is comparable to the manufacturer’s warranty?
A: Each Distributor is responsible for setting their own guarantee policy. Lexington International has no input as to how distributors set up guarantee policies or to the duration of the guarantees which they offer. Please check directly with the distributor who sold you your HairMax LaserComb to determine what their warranty terms are.

Q: How much does the HairMax LaserComb cost?
A: A brand new HairMax LaserComb Premium costs $495 US dollars. The HairMax LaserComb SE costs $345 US dollars. The HairMax LaserComb Premium is also available on a payment plan of $175.00 down and two monthly payments of $175.00. (Two monthly payments will automatically be charged to your credit card.)

Q: I do not have a credit card, what payment options are available to me?
A: You have several options. You may mail us a check for your HairMax LaserComb please include the cost of the HairMax LaserComb plus the appropriate shipping charge ($14 - US and International). Florida residents only, will need to add 6.5% sales tax. Upon receipt, once your check has cleared, we will ship your HairMax LaserComb to you. Or you may mail us a money order or arrange for a bank transfer.

Q: Do you accept COD orders?
